Pickles salted in carbonated water. Recipe.

Read my blog farts on the topic. It is a pure waste of time I am told but I like writing few words on each recipe anyway.

Otherwise just do it and enjoy watching her suck on your delicious product.

Recipe

Prep Time: 20 mins
Cook Time: 16-36 hours
Yields: 20 pickles

Tools and Devices

  • A glass container with wide opening or other container that can fit the ingredients and fit in the fridge.
  • Carbonating/soda making machine (optional).

Ingredients

  • ~2 liters of carbonated water. Enough to cover the pickles completely once in the can.
  • About 20 medium/smallish pickles. Fresh, healthy and tight when squeezed
  • Salt - 3 tbs
  • Dill - two bunches
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves
  • Vodka - 1 shot

Method

  • Wash the cucumbers thoroughly.
  • Wash the dill by dipping it in the cold bath and leaving it submerged for a few minutes. Rinse the dill thoroughly.
  • Clean and cut garlic cloves into small pieces. Do not use the mincer.
  • Cut the ends on the cucumebers.
  • Place 1/2 of the dill on the bottom of the container.
  • Throughly mix carbonated water with salt and vodka.
  • Place cucumbers inside the container horizontally, tightly sprinkling some garlic between the layers.
  • Throw in the garlic and cover with remaining dill.
  • Cover with carbonated water.
  • Close and put in the fridge.
