Dates Wrapped in Bacon. Recipe.

Recipe

Prep Time: 20 mins
Cook Time: 20 mins
Yields: ~40 pieces

Tools and Devices

  • Knife
  • Cutting Board
  • Toothpicks
  • Baking Tray
  • Oven

Ingredients

  • Dried dates pitted
  • A pack of bacon
  • Almond nuts (optional)

Method

  • Insert an almond into a date or just wrap a date with 1/2 of a bacon strip.
  • Insert a wooden toothpick to secure the bacon and lay out on a metal tray lined with a silicone sheet.
  • Heat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius / 425 Fahrenheit.
  • Throw in the oven for 20 minutes. 10 minutes in - turn them on the other side.
